So beautiful landscape and people, and surprisingly i recognized more words than i expected. Hopefully one day i can visit there (and other Turkic countries) one day, it's one of my goals.
What would you say is the single most beautiful/important place to visit in Kyrgyzstan?
And also, are there many people living a lifestyle like in the video?
Thanks for your kind invitation and answers it's really amazing how there are people living such a lifestyle while we are surrounded by luxuries and still complain.. By the way, I just wonder how these people would respond if i suddenly popped up and came across them while trekking in Kyrgyz mountains interaction with other people must be limited for them, right?when we speak slower and not use loanwords (like western words in anatolian turkish and russian words in turkestan languages), we (turkics all around the world) can understand each other rather easily. this year i'm returning to my homeland, so if you think of visiting kyrgyzstan, give me a call on your questions, i can't say what's one single important or beautiful place, coz it's practically impossible to answer that question on the second question, every herder/shepherd/high altitude dweller in kyrgyzstan lives the same minimalist, harsh life. but these wahan kyrgyz are definitely the champions in this category. btw, they are of the same tribe as the kyrgyz of ulupamir village in van/erciş.

god, i hate these islamist crazies. i want to kick saudi funded islam centres in kyrgyzstan in the butt (tho, 90% of these are ethnic uzbeks, i don't want my country becoming another afghanistan).

Hello friends,
I guess yes, Turkmen also use meh, I'm from Antalya, they use meh here.Hello friends,
Thanks for sharing this. I really enjoyed this documentary, especially regarding language.
I think I heard them saying 'meh', instead of al (almak) , as in take this, but I'm not sure. Do the Kyrgyz also use 'meh', with the same meaning. I've also heard it being used in my village.
Thanks
