He has already cheated by strangling free press.
Why would he stop cheating at the election?
One Q. Have you been to Turkey?

Because the West has free press does it, I'd like to see western press report on state secrets and what happens to them.
A free press? I’m a UK journalist, but the police labelled me an extremist
Free press my arse, you just use that token buzz word. No one believes it.
Yes, but that does not matter for this discussion.
I am sure noone in Turkey believes there is such a thing as free press.
Journalists in the West are forcing ministers to resign all the time,
and are rarely punished for that.
That does not mean that a journalist cannot be an extremist.
The freedom of speech does not give you the right to commit crimes.
It does not give you the right to instigate violent actions.
Reporting that Turkey is cooperating with terrorists would be a state secret, and punishable.
In the US, there was official hearings regarding the Iran - Contras affair.
That is the difference between a free country and a would be dictatorship.
then why bother abt him at all?Everything Erdogan is doing have been tried, and it did not work...
Nothing to be jealous about.
New Recruit
do you realy think it will be fair elactions erdogan will win there isnt democracy in turkey

State secret is state secret, secret services tell you not to do it you don't do it. its black and white, hence why snowden lives in russia. And why that other Assange gut lives in an embassy. But you can spew your west is free as a butterfly crap, it's amusing.
There are valid and invalid reasons for making things a state secret.
When the government violates the law, the constitution or International Agreements,
it is not a valid reason for state secrets.
When the leaders shift government money to their own accounts, it is not a valid state secret.
Nobody has yet put forward any credible evidence to the Turkish court that Erdogan has been doing what your buddy in Egypt has been doing unhindered by so-called 'honest' people like you.
Yeah, Erdogan is such a dictator that there are real chances that he won't get elected in a fair election, thus he might be pushed out of power very soon. What a soft-hearted democratic dictator.
I mean I don't like some of Erdogan's foreign policies, but the western crocodile tears over 'freedom of expression' in Turkey is just ludicrous and disgusting. You guys are not fooling anyone.
You prime ally in ME is Apartheid state of Israel. Also, kingdom of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt and Bahrain, all of which choose their leaders either through the "sperm mechanism" or a military coup.
