Turkey's defence industry makes highest 2011 exports to Saudi Arabia
Turkey's defence industry made the highest exports to Saudi Arabia in 2011, according to figures released by the Turkish Defence Industry Exporters' Association.
Turkey's turnover from its defense industry exports to Saudi Arabia was $108.3 million, a figure representing a 162.8% year-on-year rise. The figure for 2010 was around $41.2 million.
Saudi Arabia is the leading importer of Turkeys industrial defence exports. A quarter of Turkeys total exports of its defence industry was directed to Saudi Arabia in 2011, according to the Industrial Defence Exporters Union.
Exports to Turkmenistan have also increased, with the year-over-year turnover of exports jumping from only $65,000 in 2010 to $13.9m in 2011, a 21,000% increase.
The most popular export items were tanks and armoured vehicles, which witnessed a 52.4% increase from 2010 to 2011, reaching a total of $78.9m.

I have a question everybody.....Does anybody have any idea of any deals that happened lately?? Cause I haven't heard of anything of this sort.
