The guidance of these artillery rocket systems has been greatly improved. If the navy amphibious task force can enter the appropriate engagement distance, and if these MLRS systems hitting the target with intense saturation and highly accurate, there may be a strong multiplier to increase the efficiency of the amphibious landing operation.

The destruction effect of 500kg explosive warhead at hypersonic speeds at terminal phase will be more than enough to convert a frigate into a metal garbage my friend so I think It is an optimal solution to put an enemy surface ships out of active duty. Besides, Those missiles on tactical level must be fire/forget-update type. The missile will navigate into target zone with GPS/INS guidance and Rf/IIR seeker head will be activated in terminal phase.

agreed, well even with out a warhead it still can make a big hole through the ship you can see here a big ship just disappeared in fire and shockwave on one of the Iranian test of 500+ warhead.
