Turkey to Send Troops to Libya at Tripoli's Request, Erdogan Says

Today Turkey isn't yesterday Ottomans/Turkic tribes...
First you need an Ideological reform... Then a Common goal that goes beyond current ideological borders... and last An Enemy...
And then, you can dream of all days... Since current modern Warfare isn't tailed for "Conquest"...

Erdogan may have started that reform... but you guys are still very far, from the old days... Afterall... for such "Dream"... you gonna need to fight your biggest enemy... a good chunk of your own people...
As for the person, time and place, it's US, NOW and HERE....

Many a Sehaba-i Ikram became Shehit immediately after taking Shehadet....

As for the "modern warfare", what do you think the following Akinjis (raiders) are here for??? By the by, it has already taken a century! Another century won't matter as long as the "live" actions on the ground are there....

If you want to go to the old days, you have to reform your Doctrine... but for that you need to adopt a new ideology that give "conquest" a primary role in it... per exemple Islam...
So, an Islamisation of your country will automatically open the door for such "ideology".

As for Military equipments... I don't doubt that TR have the capacity to "Take over" some military powers around her... but a military power need a doctrine to be useable... Otherwise it will be similar to what the Americans/Europeans did in the region... They will rapidly have to make a choice... stay by force or go back home.

Here, it's a matter of "survivability", which can't be done without going back to the "roots" and breaking the "imprisonment" inside Anatolia!!! The rest are details...

The importance of Egypt and Turkey for Russia is beyond economics .... it is strategic importance .... be it the Suez Canal or the Bosphorus .....
regarding the latest achievements of the LNA .... they want to gain much land as they can before Berlin summit .... and if you follow the Libyan Media , you will not follow the Wagner propaganda ... there are many videos and photos for the LNA forces interning Sirte and the celebrations of it’s people .

As I said before , No cease fire announcement can be guaranteed from thousands of miles away from the battle and excluding the number 1 real player ( Egypt) .....

FYI
LNA refuses the cease fire
People in sirte are chanting pro-hadaffi slogans
Of course that egypt is important for russia
I will find the tweet where turkey is the second largest buyer(of all G20 countries) of egyptian goods I would say that egypt and turkey don’t want an escalation either by the way bosphorus is the most important choke point for russia because it gives them access to mediterranean and north africa plus all the ships from every country that send goods to russia (excluding northern states like sweden norway denmark and UK) need to pass through turkish straits suez is very important as well but not as much as bosphorus&dardanelles
You know what turkey wants(tripoli and misrata plus the gas deal WHICH IS GREAT FOR EGYPTIAN NATIONAL INTEREST) there’s no real threat to egypt(to be more specific sisi) because eastern libya would stay under haftar so if you have terrorists smuggled from libya to egypt then its haftar’s fault
I am not going to underestimate military power of egypt but i think currently algeria is by far the strongest military in the arab world
Also keep in mind that Istanbul kanal and its geopolitical importance(there will be no montrex restrictions about military vessels i quess eventually russians will get what they want but they will have to give something BIG in return to turkey)
TurkStream and Akkuyu projects are more like economic win-win for both sides
When i mean BIG look for libya&syria concessions

As I said before..... no cease fire agreement without Egypt ..... TODAY PUTIN PHONED ELSISI

FYI Russia has a share in The Egyptian ZOHR Gas field ( the biggest in the Mediterranean) which worth about 100 B USD .

Russia May has something to give to Turkey in Syria ..... but in Libya ... Russia doesn’t have anything to give to Turkey .

As for Algerian Military power ..... they are our brothers .... we are proud of their strength .... but if you are interested in Military stuff ..... you really need to read more about The Egyptian Military .... you are missing a lot and affected by the propaganda here in PDF.

As told you yesterday there will be Astana-like format in which 4 states will participate: Russia Libya(GNA) Italy and Turkey
By the way I don’t have problem if egypt and tunisia are included as well but haftar UAE and france should be kicked out of this process/summit they are the reason for this stupid adventure which killed hundreds of innocent libyan civilians
I have told earlier will repeat once again
Russians don’t want gas competition
They would like to own all gas fields in eastern mediterranean which is impossible or to stop/disrupt export of this gas located in eastmed
Because the offensive failed and europeans who once were the main stakeholders but lost momentum due to betrayal of GNA now there is a chance for russia not only to get more share in libyan oil but to establish a base inside libya today i read news how gna delegation went in moscow re-signing the old construction deals with russia worth 12B yesterday there was news that they will sign guarantees for the unfinished deals with turkish companies
So there is win win situation for putin and erdogan both of them will get (old and new once situation is stabilized) construction deals as well as share in gas deals plus both of them will get a military base inside libya
Italians have returned to rationality and they will try to save(their influence) as much they can

.
I wish the Turkish military all the best in Libya.

What are Turkey's the short-term and long-term goals in Libya? Is it just for securing oil fields, defeating Haftar, anything related to Kurds, Egypt, stop the refugee outflow or simply just yo support the Libyan Government as they have requested for help?

Construction deals worth 25B
Securing both turkish as well as libyan gas/oil rights(This deal benefits egypt also)
Turkey and libya can jointly launch gas/oil development in cooperation with foreign partners
If turkey successfully help libyans in recovering their state then this could pave the way for turkey-north africa alliance(algeria tunisia libya turkey) that will have positive impact for muslims but definitely very bad news for europeans(especially france)
UAE supports haftar because they think middle east would be better managed if ruthless dictator govern arab states actually they are scared because if their dictator project fails they are screwed for good ordinary arabs want multi-party democratic state tunisia is one example of successful arab country that has normal elections like every other state that belongs to 21 century but you know the situation of ME
