True! Not even Su-57. Both are inferior alternatives.

I hold back judgment on Su-57. India's refusal to purchase Su-57 makes me believe that it is not a big improvement over the Flankers

Neither are inferior to F-35. In fact both are superior as fighters as F-35 isn't designed as a fighter but rather a strategic bomber whereas Su-57 was designed as a competitor to F-22.

The report isn't correct. Turkey isn't buying Su-35, wants rather technological collaboration with Russia on Su-57. F-35 is not the weapon for a country who wants to be sovereign. Turkey might be better off not buying the aircraft and should rather work with the Russians on technology transfer over the Saturn engine and avionics of Su-57 for Turkey's indigenous 5th generation fighter TF-X.

Also having experience in designing and manufacturing military UAVs and having a pretty good fleet of them, Turkey should also focus on 5th generation (stealth) unmanned fighter aircraft as well.
