N is for Nihari made by the cook of Nawaz Sharif.

Pakistan and Turkey signed a landmark defence cooperation agreement Wednesday under which Turkey will provide Pakistan with 34 ‘T-37 fighter cum training aircraft and its spare parts on a gratis basis.’

The agreement was signed after the conclusion of the 11th Meeting of the Pakistan-Turkey High Level Military Dialogue Group (HLMDG) in Ankara.

From Pakistan's side, the agreement was signed by Director General Defence Procurement Major General Naveed Ahmed while from the Turkish side, Chief of Logistics Major General Serdar Gulbas signed the documents.

A joint communiqué from both Pakistan and Turkey was signed by Defence Secretary Lieutenant General (retd) Muhammad Alam Khattak and Gen Yasar GULER, Deputy Chief of Turkish General Staff.

Defence Ministry spokesman Narita Farhan told media that the T-37 is a jet trainer light combat aircraft and Turkey, on Pakistan’s desire, extended a fleet of 34 aircraft along with spare parts to Pakistan.

Defence Secretary Lt. Gen (Retd) Muhammad Alam Khattak during the visit highlighted Pakistan’s defence capability and its relevance in the current global scenario.

Khattak said both working groups did considerable work to review progress on decisions taken in the last HLMDG meeting as well as deciding on the new agenda related to security issues and defence cooperation.

The secretary defence expressed desire to further expand cooperation between the defence industries of the two countries, from strategic to joint venture levels.

He said the HLMDG meeting proved very successful and expressed satisfaction over the unanimity of views on the subjects negotiated.

As I said Hindusim had really supressed the people. Thanks to Islam they are happy and doing better than had they been hindus. When Sufi saints came they fled their religion en masse.
We have gone out of topic. Hinduism really suppressed the people and that is 100% true.

You really do not have any idea what these aircraft are and what they are used for. Please throw some light what aircraft would you rather have for same job?

its in between Mushak and K-8P... you are right i dont know much about the jet but that's not my point... why bring used scrape? that's my point..

Only in defense.

Whom Do U think Turkey is Gonna do First Strike .... Except a Couple Almost all country have No First Use Policy ... Same trickle down to NATO Sharing ..... they have it covered as in a Deterrent ... !!!

& i hardly see a need they need to have a First Strike Possibility ... They are OK with Israel .. North Korea is not gonna Attack them , India Pakistan is pretty Irrelevant in this case & they are Fine with Iran (better thn other Gulf Countries) ... and they won't be the first in line against Russia ... & i hardly See NATO / Europe Casting Turkey Away !

In fact Turk people love Pakistan a lot. I was in Ankara city (Capital) on the way to Mexico, I saw my taxi driver was proudly telling to other Texi drivers that I have Pakistani visitor. I asked him, why are you proud of it. He raised first finger from each hand and touched each other. he said Pakistani and turk are Ayenna (Mirror).

T-37 is one of the best trainer world has seen. PAF is already using this aircraft but they are old. If PAF is to continue training its pilots, it has two choices 1) buy new aircraft which means hundreds of millions dollars expenditure on a trainer which can not be used in war 2) continue to fly current aircraft and spend tens of millions of dollars on their maintenance. This where Turkey has helped us. By providing these aircraft which will be perfectly fine to train our pilots, they have given us the breathing space of several years to save money on new trainers and also save money on maintenance of current T-37. Where does that saved money go? To buy new fighters or submarines or something else. We can save up that money to buy new trainers after few years.

34 aircraft are a lot of aircraft. Pakistan already got T-37s from U.S. few years back. Which means a lot of T-37s with us. What do we do with them? Fly half of them and use rest half for spares thus saving us millions of dollars on import of spares. Do you see anything wrong with it? Very smart thing to do when your budget is tight. When we have good economy, we can go and buy shiny new trainers. It will be great if we buy Turkish trainer Hurkus so that relationship remains mutually beneficial.

I think the Gift was Already mentioned here ... but some went GaGa that instead of T-37 they were Offering Us T-38 Talon (If Only) .. guess those Rumor will come to Rest Now !

PS: We (PAF) Need an Advance Trainer Please :(
I don't think so because a authentic page posted this reply

Only Pakistan media claims its T-37 with T-38 Talon pic :3 .... Pakistan already using T-37s while 59 trainers have been approved by U.S in 2015 we have already enough T-37s in service but Turkey will provide us T-38 Talons
