If HISAR missiles are reportedly carrying two independent rocket motors then it shud be evident that we are certainly getting a long range system inbound after the medium range, apart from the fact that the second motor actually helps in missile hitting its target without losing its juice, with efficiency and accuracy. Nonetheless the dual motor concept is actually quite a leap into a total new horizon. Mabrook Turkey.

"Roketsan officials at the exhibition told IHS Jane's that the Hisar-A missile (previously known as AIHSF) has a maximum altitude of 5 km and a maximum overall range of 15 km (at sea level). Roketsan is subcontractor to Aselsan for both Hisar missiles, responsible for the all-up rounds, including their launch canisters."

"The medium-range Hisar system (previously known as T-Maladmis) is based on a wheeled Mercedez-Benz chassis equipped with six Roketsan Hisar-O missiles.

This system is designed to operate as a battery in concert with the Aselsan FCS, which is equipped with a mobile search radar, EO/IR system, and targeting radar. The Hisar-O missile has a maximum altitude of 10 km and a maximum range of 25 km at sea level."

No,Hisar-A(low altitude) will be operational soon(2017),Hisar-O(medium altitude) and Hisar-U(high altitude) will take some time.

A bit detail on platforms Hisar missile family will be used !

Hisar missile family will be enlarged to advanced and longer variants which is going to protect all air layers of Turkish Republic. Currently, Turkish industry works on three variants on low and medium altitude. Indigenous Long altitude SAM is waiting for signature ceremony. Hisar-MANPAD is also under preparation phase for official kick-off.

Hisar-A Truck mounted SAM for strategic area protection on Low Altitude.

Besides, Turkish industry works on closer range protection systems. Along with Hisar-MANPAD project, Aselsan developed Korkut 35mm CIWS twin gun is a strategic product for our close aerial protection and Separately developed Fire control system make upgraded Oerlikon Anti-aircraft guns totally unmanned which is directed by Radar/EO combined Fire control computers. Both of those systems use Aselsan developed AHEAD munitions and their reaction times are minimized thanks to advanced radar/EO combination.

Great stuff there, I wonder if Turkey is working on high altitude SAMS like something 200+ KM. However, Pakistan should try to work with Turkish brothers on this and also should buy some.

It is not known the range from now but Industry has started development of Long Altitude SAM system. It is just needed an official signature ceremony for official kick-off.

Do you think Turkey can produce something similar to S-400 or anything like that ? I wish Pakistan could join this and we could develop something similar but I am not sure if it could ever happen. I would love to see something similar to S-400 that will make our enemies think twice before making any misadventure.
