Well we are not oil rich arabs who employ servants because we can't lift our obese asses. We know like you that you have to shed some sweat. Ugh don't remind me of Arabs please

We should help Turkey in every possible way. However i am of opinion that helping the Turks should not effect the ongoing operations, finally thanks to Allah, He has awarded our army's efforts with some peace and good days are back in sight. I also agree with @Zarvan that we should increase the size of our armed forces cause now that we have survived and almost eleminated terrorism we have a bigger role it play
we already increasing
additional 180,000 soldiers are being recruited

Did Pakistan ask help from any country to fight its own problem NO
Then why turkey needs Pakistan help they also have experience to fight terrorism from long time .
This is BS news turkey is not Saudi it's very advance and have very good military to fight this rats so Pakistan take my advice and avoids to help somebody else first take care of yourselves then help brother country.

And take my advice and kindly mind your business we don't need Czars advice.

All any and every means should be provided to assist Turkey. Turkey is our brother and one of the few counties who truly love Pakistan dearly. I have witnessed it time after time and some people know how many times Turkey has been there for us. One prime example during the f16 sanctions during the 90s. Brothers till the end Pak/Turk.

I don't think turkey need men & material they have plenty what they need probably help in COIN ops by SFs training may embedding few officers with TSF for help in planning and excecutions of operation .Real threat to turkey r on the horizon when pkk got rafuge in the northern Iraq .pak will help when Cheif said full support means full support of all kind depands what they need .i will say this will be biggest challenge for turkey after WW1 reason all actors r same who operating here only change is time we r 100 yr ahead & Inshaallh turkey will get through it pak is not under British Rag that we can't help them we will help them this time .

We first made blunder of not helping GCC countries who have always supported us in every crisis now Turkey also our main supporter in every crisis along with GCC asks for help. We have to help both GCC and Turkey in their fight or can say good buy to our allies for ever. Now it's time to take some seriously hard decisions. That is why I say we need to increase our Forces massively and deploy some of them in middle east forever. I mean forever.
@MastanKhan

I think we have been helping thats why they have gone quiet.

That was not the blunder. We cant commit our forces for their cause. And look at their cause! They are bombing Yemen disproportionately to the threat.

Saudis and rich Gulf countries did not try diplomacy or negotiations. They seem nervous.

Also. Saudis and rich decadent Arabs dont treat us their equals. They treat us like their slaves. Look at the pathetic work conditions expatriate work there. Not that they can improve much but their laws for foreign workers translate into modern day slavery. Turks treat Pakistanis with affection and a sense of gratitude. This can easily be compared travelling in those countries.

Hi,

Thank you for the tag---the Yemen crisis was a fiasco for Pakistan----it was a blunder of the ultimate magnitude.

Pakistan is the only muslim nation who has withstood an onslaught of terrorist insurgency in KPK, Fata and Baluchsitan---and then has stood up to a neighbor 3 ties in size militarily---.

So---basically---there is no other muslim military in the region with Pakistan unique experience and expertise.

It is very difficult to change position---from being a beggar to being a giver----. A beggar always begs and a giver always gives---that was the case with Saudi arabia and Emirates----we begged and they gave---we begged and they gave---we begged and they gave---and suddenly they asked for something---and as we had no clue how to give---we refused---and we refused horribly and humiliated and degraded our well wishers.

So---again---we are at a cross roads----now turkey may want assistance---so if we give them assistance---then what would we say to emirates and Saudi arabia----.

That yemen issue would bite Pakistan in the ar-se real hard----the pay back for that felony offense would be tough to swallow.

You are right---when one is a beggar for whole of his life---it becomes next to impossible to give---.

Quite rubbish what you are saying.

We give them a lot too. Only if you can overcome your inferiority complex. Pakistan has helped Gulf countries with training, manpower, institution building, establishing airlines and dont forget many Arabs have graduated from our universities and doing well on their return.

On my trip to Jordan, I met a man who was a graduate from University of Karachi. He was Jordanian. When I told him I m from Karachi, he affectionately talked about Karachi and his youth days there.

Some thing tells me Pakistan needs to play a bigger role .We have denied KSA request (and as a result our biggest source of remittances from UAE and KSA are danger amounting to some 9 Billion US dollar .Even though KSA is a kingdom but for the sake of Haram and its Khadimaein some thing was to be done .India already have form strategic alliance with UAE as a result of this. So relaxed visas for Indian`s in UAE and more quota .Turkey is the best friend Pak has over the period of time ,reason being they have morally, tech and any thing they could offer they have .PAK needs to share its experience of fighting these TTP,ISIS with physical presence as well .As some how we are standing a way where our internal secuirty is questioned but we need to respond to these emerging threats to our friends .Friend in need is friend in deed.

Pakistan can play a bigger role in current Middle East crisis but for that we need a leader with a bigger head not one with bigger eyes and even bigger stomach. I hope you understood what I said :)

I say, even IF assisting Turkey, means going against the interests of Iran, then so be it.. We MUST help Turkey, in anyway... How many friends are we going to lose for Iran's sake, when Iran is closer to India already and not a strategic partner of Pak? Turkey has ALWAYS supported Pakistan.. turkey also helped us, keep our F16s operational when US sanctioned Pak.... Already we angered GCC due to Iran, ( i dont mean tht we should have gone to yemen, and bombed there..or our soldiers shd hv participated in Yemen..rather..we should have sent our men for defensive role in KSA but we handled tht in worst diplomatic manner) and gave India a free opportunity to form closer alliance with UAE... I sincerely hope, tht our foreign policy makers have learnt from tht debacle
Also i think, Turkish forces are very capable...and more advanced than Pak..and Turkey is a mature country.. They wouldnt want our armed forces in the role, tht GCC wanted.. I think they would want role of our forces for planning and strategic purposes and intel support, as Pak has immense experience , in last decade, to fight the kind of war, Turkey needs help in.....For tht, whatever we can, to help Turkey, we MUST..
Also, going by ISPR's public statements regd Turkey, where they have openly stated, tht Gen Raheel assured Turkish leadership all our support, i think we will support turkey... Otherwise ISPR would have been more cautious with their statements.. But the fact tht they openly stated tht Gen Raheel assured our full support, means we have made the decision to assist Turkey with whatever they have requested

Iran has got nothing to do with crisis Turkey is facing. Turkey is facing a Kurdish problem. All terror outfits have grown their wings as a wave of terror is sweeping the region. Turkey is in danger from ISIS and PKK.

.

Sir,

Here is what I am getting from your post----just because you do not have the ability to understand and grasp at the issue at hand---it becomes rubbish----.

The rest of your post about those graduated etc---it so silly.

About the inferiority or superiority complex---learn to talk like a man----grown up men don't comment like that----unless you a typical Pakistani-----.

In my 33 years here in the U S---not a single white or black or a yellow or a latino person has ever said anything about a superiority complex or an inferiority complex----. But every time there is a disagreement with a Pakistani---that is the first thing that shoots out---inferiority complex---.

Saudis have always stood by you after sanctions it was Saudis who gave you money as for expatriates they treat every one badly. Pissing of KSA will only bring havoc and chaos we have to help both Turkey or KSA or can say goodbye to all our allies for ever. @Hyperion

Saudis should be helped but when we are over stretched, we should look at ourselves first. Saudis have lot of resources to fight a war against a deprived and poor nation.

Also, when Pakistan refused, the reaction from Gulf countries said it all about how they like us to be treated.

I m talking about giving. You should not engage with me if you think you have some superior faculty to reason and think.

as the largest oil importer in the world, how could we sit tight and watch? syria's special envoy just visited China and asked for military equipments, and we said yes.

we will fully cooperate with russia and iran in dealing with this mess, you will see large number of ISIS retreat to their base camp in turkey, and turk will enjoyn it.

Well India definitely supports Russia and China on this. Its a good thing that China is taking up a larger role that it should as a permanent member of UNSC .

To answer your post .I am in process of going to KSA for work now as i am going through the process i met several hundred people trying to go to KSA for work .Let me tell you this for fact most of them you will not even hire them as your guard or driver ,un educated ,un civilized they will push you here for bypassing line ,they will give bribe for medical and other centre ,how do you state that ,reason being Saudis mal treatment is Ok they do have superiority complex but here in Pak i have seen many guys who have Sarya in there neck so this is quite a subjective discussion you are doing .Now coming to topic of helping you are saying we have helped them how and when care to explain this to all of us .If that was the scenario why UAE is having a strategic alliance with our arch enemy India .
