Persian civilization during the Achamenid,Parthian and Sassanid time is on a whole different level compared to the nearby tribal, nomadic cultures of Turks and Arabs.
It would be an insult to the Persian culture comparing it to them. The only comparable ones will be the ancient Egyptian and Indian cultures.
Sure they built greater empires than the Persians, but culture/sophistication is different from empire building.
Why is an Indian always coming here and trying to bash Turkey? Don't meddle your nose into stuff you have no idea about. I am not coming to Indian forums or any other Turks and bash Indian culture and history, what is your problem?
And i think it is pathetic to compare Persian empire with Ottoman empire (geographically). Persian empire at its height had half of Ottoman empires lands.

Furthermore The Ottoman Empire was one of the largest and longest lasting empires in history; such that the Ottoman State, its politics, conflicts, and cultural heritage in a vast geography provide one of the longest continuous narratives. So please, you can't compare an ancient empire like the Sassanid and Parthia with a modern empire. The technology, medicine, weaponry etc is completely on a different level. But Persia is indeed one of the oldest civilizations in known history, respect for that. And today Iran, Turkey and Japan are the only countries that sustained their cultural heritage best compared to other civilizations which were dominated and colonized by the West.
