A referendum in Sylhet or any part of BD won't make any difference. BD is over populated so we are basically everywhere. But to make you happy i would say i am all for freedom.

thats good for you to be open minded. but dont compare your or indian state with Blouchistan its total population is not even 1 caror and land is way bigger than any indian state and offcourse its 4 times bigger than bangladesh.

This is great news pak had been blocking us since 2006 and using this platform against India since 1990s. Now we would see significant changes. You can't ignore 2nd most muslim populace nation.

Muslim population of India shouldn't be abandoned.

You do know India joining OIC as observer will legalized J&K, right? That means no Kashmir issue acc. to OIC & its members like Turkey, KSA and Bangladesh etc.

Its good if India becomes part of OIC. They can than be pressurized for all the wrong doings in Kashmir and else where in India where Muslims are butchered

And vice versa for minorities in your lands ....

India has ambitions to be seen/become a global superpower. It may feel this will help them get a seat at UNSC if over time other Muslim nations give them more support.

Muslims in India are very silent when it comes to Kashmir or the rise of the BJP far right, so there is no point giving them a voice in the OIC.
