Not really a mad dog PER SE. However, im surprised to see Turkey barely has any influence in the Arab world/region at all. Compared to Saudi Arabia/gulf states and Iran Turkey is almost insignificant to be honest. This to me is rather surprising giving Turkey has a huge economy and is an economic powerhouse in the region. Its like an island of itself when it comes to regional geo-politicsin the middle east, apart from poroviding sanctuary for fighters crossing into Syria and recently providing training to yrian 'moderate' rebels.lool IA think Turkey has much to offer the region, in being kind of moderate in its views/religion and not having the wahabist ideology which Saudi Arabia has been exporting sucessfully to countries like Pakistan. Bar its suport for rebels/islamic militants in Syria Turkey indeed is a relative model for other countries in the region i think. Its foreign policy/influence still lags farrr behind. This can be seen in Turkey simply joining/following Saudi Arabia's lead in this conflict. its still playing second fiddle to a country it should be leading instead.Erdogan is a mad dog.
Anyway , i hope we dont get involve in this senseless sectarian wr. i dont want to see people in the region saying evil infidels are killing them.lool
