UAE needs to stop wearing an oversized shoe, better focus on national tourism industry.

The two suspected spies "confessed to have been employed by the UAE's intelligence services" – Reuters quotes Turkish official
Lets see for the motives of arrival and the report for involvement in the Kashoggi case. I think these two will pay on behalf of the other suspected Saudi nationals which are not deported for a trial in Turkey.

. . . .
seeing their weight, they simply gave up running when police showed up.. what kind of special spy are these?
The elephant unit :D ! Apart from the joke it's not a must for an intelligence operative to be super fit or look like Arnold in order to be trained and effectively used. In some branches of different intelligence services one of the most important thing is for the operative to NOT look like a sportsman/trained man/spy/military guy and this feature is also one of the main features that one must have if he wants to fit good into the "Gray/Golden" zone.

It seems that their branch and level didn't require a lot of sport but their look must not deceive you. Even if they have bellies they posses a big threat and their physical shape is not an obstacle to be trained to a good level in weapons handling and personal protection techniques. When it comes to professionals it is a principle not to judge by the looks.

They successfully started a work in forming a spy network aimed at harming Turkey and gathering of valuable intelligence on other Arabs in Turkey about their activities. Their arrest happened in result of 6 month
counter-intelligence operation in which physical and technical tracking were used. I am wondering what would be UAE's reaction on this. I have a feeling that this story will explode.

Little more details around the two captured UAE operatives.

They are captured in joint counter-intelligence operation conducted in six months including physical and technical tracking by the National Intelligence Organization MIT and the General Directorate for Security EGM. The one is captured in a hotel and other is captured in a home. Together with them special coded computers and documents were retrieved.

The two operatives with initials Z.H. and S.S. are in Turkey in order to gather information about opposition minded Arab students and Arabs as all and to create a spy network serving foreign interests against Turkey. They confessed in front of the interrogation teams that they worked in the name of UAE. It is known that they tried to form a spy network against Turkey and even met with journalists in order to purchase fake news with money.

The investigation about their possible involvement in Khashoggi case is still ongoing. It is known that the two operatives are close to the Arab with Palestinian origins Muhammad Dahlan which operated in many countries before and is known as "Abu Fadi" and the "Middle Eastern Hitman". Muhammad Dahlan is known to have worked for both UAE Prince Muhammad bin Zayed and also the Saudi Prince Muhammad bin Salman. It is known that Muhammad Dahlan have completed tens of jobs for these both princes all around the world including Yemen and Palestine. It is also known that Muhammad Dahlan was involved in money traffic aimed at members of the FETO terrorist organization in the 15th July coup in Turkey.

The two UAE operatives will be sued for Political and Military Espionage and also for International Espionage. If they have the wrong documents in hand they can face even heavy life sentence. Their situation is not very bright.
