fraternal ties?then why last time when Turkey downed a Russia jet and all central Asian countries sided with Russia and condemn Turkey? So influence and fraternal ties are only based on trade?
China does have problem with Turkey ,but has no problems with central Asian countries who share the closest linguistic, cultural and ethnic ties with part of China.

I m not talking about religions here, I m talking about the OP article, Turkey has zero chance to challenge China in central Asia, Turkey actually doesn't have much chance to challenge anyone due to its weak economy and overall national strength.Just this past year Uzbekistan removed Russian from its use in official documents, much to the outcry of Russians. Slowly, but surely, CARs are gravitating towards the Islamic world. You have Turkey and Pakistan, whose influence has begun to spread into this area.
For Pakistan, currently Afghanistan and Tajikstan are under our influence, and it is steadily improving.
There is a genuine crisis of faith in the region, due to decades of rule under Communism, people want to learn about their religion and culture. People have started studying their history, and improving ties with Muslim countries.
It was long overdue.
Sorry I admit that I don't know much about religion details, but China is a good friend of Gulf Arab nations, Iran, Pakistan, central Asian nations, they make up the most of the Muslim world, I won't say the same about Turkey's relations with them.Turkey is the last Khalifah of Muslims, so they have spiritual and historic legitimacy.
Yes China is good ally, and is starting to supply defense equipment as well to countries like Jordan and Algeria and Morocco.Sorry I admit that I don't know much about religion details, but China is a good friend of Gulf Arab nations, Iran, Pakistan, central Asian nations, they make up the most of the Muslim world, I won't say the same about Turkey's relations with them.

Without Caucasus Turkey can't integrate the Turkic countries in central Asia. This is more likely to be a trouble of Russia. IMO it's a mission impossible.

We know that and are grateful for what you did for us, but I was talking about Turkey's relations with them, not Pakistan's. Turkey has many enemies even in the Muslim world and China has none, they are all China's close friends. We helped US and China repair ties, and kept KSA and Iranian rivalry to a minimum for a long time.
Azerbaycan is connected to Turkmenistan through the Caspian sea.
Pakistan is going to use this same route to reach Turkey as neither Russia nor Iran are reliable for us.
