Sir, this so called "cancer" was introduced to Pakistan by a dictator Zia ul haq. No political leader brought this but a mindless dictator brought and emboldened them first. Once they were used for a globalist agenda to down USSR, another dictator declared war on them that the country is still fighting. The irony is that both were hired and financed with big $$$ and sponsors.

The problem is Pakistan does NOT have rule of law or any notion of social justice. even the supreme court is dysfunctional. Political and economical stability is linked with social justice. so these groups will keep emerging due to political and economic turmoil in the country.

These type of "cancer" fringe groups exists in all countries. In US there are KKK, mormons, right wing groups and left-wing etremist groups. But they are never able to take over because there is rule of law and social justice.

This is common knowledge. However, there is only so much power that a dictator has. He wouldn't have been able to foster so much religious extremism and sectarianism if the people themselves didn't want these things.

Another dictator tried to promote moderate values and tried to crack down on armed extremists; his work wasn't looked upon too kindly here.

The problem is Pakistan does NOT have rule of law or any notion of social justice. even the supreme court is dysfunctional. Political and economical stability is linked with social justice. so these groups will keep emerging

All the political and economical instability in the world won't stop highly disciplined and trained organizations that genuinely believe they are implementing God's Will on Earth. You need to deal with them by using force, and the people need to stop believing in the misguided notion that we shouldn't turn our guns on our Muslim brothers.

As soon as a Muslim brother (or any non state entity for that matter) raises up arms against you, you respond in kind. Any hesitation, second thoughts, and desire for talks will get you killed. Simple as that.

Sir, Of course people didn't want the dictator and his "things". People wanted Bhutto that the dictator Zia killed through his own kangaroo court.

Dictator Zia abrogated the constitution and made the supreme court dysfunctional. I am not a fan of Bhutto. But fact remains that Bhutto's murder was not only judicial murder, but also murder of social justice and political stability in the country that we are still paying the price for the sins of both Dictators.
