Truth & reconciliation among tribals the only way: Imran Khan

At 23:20 Imran says we should not be sending our fauj into tribal areas, get out of US aid-for-war entanglement, then push for peaceful reconciliation between the pro- and anti- Taliban tribes as the only way forward.

why is this man the only one talking sense all these years? isn't it obvious to Pak fauj, just now we had another operation in Tirah valley/other parts of Kurram. this is exactly what Americans want, a messy war where Pakistanis end up killing Pakistanis, innocent people displaced and killed amongst casualties of war.

Then he also speaks at 27:30 how he would ensure we push through the Iran Pakistan pipeline without any pressure or foreign funding to subvert it, as well as not interfering in Afghanistan post US withdrawal, but rather ensuring a reconciliation there as well, aman qaim karran 'aaste.

encourage watching all of it if you have the time, for policy on load shedding, corruption etc. if you ask me. this man is so consistently logical and honest, that if he doesn't achieve rightful place in power this year, then sad to say but we as a qaum deserve whatever we get thereafter

I agree with Imran Khan's foreign policy completely and agree that Iran Pakistan gas pipeline should go forward as well as the fact that we need to disengage from the US (provided we still fight Hakimullah mahsud and destroy his Taliban militants). However I am still uncertain about the internal policy he favors. Making peace with the Taliban is like watching your mother being raped and not being able to do anything about it. It is a huge injustice to have a peace deal with the murderers of 40,000 innocent Pakistanis. It is a horrible thing and should not be done unless there is no other choice.

The only thing is I am also aware that Imran Khan is a Burki from one side so he knows more about tribal people than anyone else around here so he could offer a solution and if peace deal is the solution then we might have to swallow our pride. My mind says give Imran khan's solution a chance, my heart says destroy the Taliban no matter what it takes.
