Trump willing to solve Pakistan’s outstanding problems

Obama plucked Osama right from Kakul academy boundary wall but I guess violation of national sovereignty didn't mean jack sh!t to Pakistan as you put it. Well Trump did say Pakistani people are intelligent so I am sure they would put in some serious thought on his 2 minute offer.

LOL get over it man. Osama episode is done and dusted. Also, many notable Americans have disputed the entire episode. So much for OBL. The Obama administration who carried out the operation couldn't sanction Pakistan because even they were of the opinion that Pakistan was most likely unaware. Besides, what is Trump going to do now? LOL Ask for Afridi's release? He won't get it just like Pakistan wouldn't get a pardon for Chelsea Manning or Snowden. We can overcome this hurdle because we don't have to agree on everything.

Election rhetoric buddy. Learn to differentiate between the reality and election time. Trump is warming up now. Like I said, Trump has already changed on most of his election promises at home and abroad. Trump is shrewd. He knows how to please his voter base and conduct real politiks behind the scenes. I think you Indians are in for a rude awakening. The Obama administration has been very favorable to India at the expense of Pakistan. Obama and Democrats were the real danger for Pakistan. No matter how crazy Trump may sound at times, he certainly is a very shrewd man. This is becoming very apparent.

Obama was soft on Pakistan because he visited Pakistan back when he was in his 20s but Trump has no such case.

No, he wasn't. Obama has killed innocent Pakistani people in drone strikes. Obama has handed nuclear technology on a silver platter to our foe India. The list of Obama's transgressions towards Pakistan are pretty much endless. Trump cannot be as bad as Obama. Not in a million years.

Indian hindus under modi are turning to extremely mad and fanatic in relation to Pak and China. We‘ll see what Trump will do。。。:coffee:

We will lean back, grab some chai and see how things unfold. Pakistan and China are in no hurry.

Barack Obama is history now. Donald Trump is the antithesis of him.

India also not fool enough to think that trump will desert pakistan, but India will make sure that trump will favour less on pakistan in the form of military equipment, military aid etc.We don't mind if your relation have nothing to do with india, as this is none of our business.

We are not interested in US military equipment. We seek economic and trade opportunities. China is Pakistan's main supplier of arms and we are more than satisfied.

i donot think this story true and it looks like PMLN propaganda gaining some ppl attraction show ppl how important are they wait and watch

PM Nawaz felicitates US president-elect over victory
  • US president-elect Donald Trump, in a telephonic conversation with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, said on Wednesday he was willing to play any role that Pakistan wanted to find solutions to outstanding problems.

The premier had called Trump to felicitate him on his recent victory, a statement issued by the PM’s House said.
@war&peace @GreenFalcon @SherDil007 @Indus Falcon @Morse_Code

This was a very critical step and this is good diplomacy. Pakistan should reach out to the US as a friend and a partner and establish good diplomatic channels. Trump is a very smart guy and he would work very well with a like minded person from Pakistan (representing people and knowing business). I can only see good things out of these relationship building measures for Pakistan. There is nothing to lose. Trump on a good note with Pakistan can literally mean peace for both India and Pakistan.

If Mr. Trump really got to it, he won't take that bullshiit answer from either side that "we speak the same language, we can solve our issues". He will literally put himself in the middle and be like "bit*ches, lets talk". Just saying knowing his personality. No offense intended to anyone.

If Problems get solved, I just wonder whom they'll sell all those weapons and jets?

I think the chances of a cooperative and fruitful relation between Pakistan and the US under Trump are more likely than a Democrat president. Of course, time will tell, but I'm sure that Pakistan US relations won't be as rocky as under Obama in the past 8 years. Obama's tenure has been a complete disaster for Pakistan. I have many disagreements with Trump and his election rhetoric, but I'm starting to change my perception regarding US Pak relations under Trump.

You also have to look at things properly. Mr. Trump is a business man. He isn't used to just having one opinion. When you do business, you always understand you have to give some to gain some. So he is used to negotiating. On Pakistan's side, you have a similar situation. No matter how many people write negative crap on here, you have a businessman running Pakistan also, and he was properly elected even with so much hate against him on here. So they both have a lot in common.

When two leaders have that mindset and chemistry and are used to negotiating, only good comes out. Unlike others, he accepted the invitation to come to Pakistan.

Now Pakistan should showcase to him all the good things they are doing in many cities, infrastructure, etc, etc, and the Pakistani PM should give an independent invitation to Mr. Trump to ask American businesses to invest into Pakistan and reap profit and have better relationships. That's a no brainer and it would work like a charm and will build lasting relationships.

Mr Trump first priority should be fulfilling those WTC size Promise he make to his voters .. Solve your own problems before poking your small hands in to S.Asian matters .. as they say " Rehne do beta tum se na ho paye ga " ..

We certainly need to have an open dialogue on many issues. We need to have an open mind. There is much more than meets the eye. This could mean a fresh start. Trump is indeed a businessman and his mindset dictates investment. We have a similar business minded leader in Pakistan. Pakistan should definitely tap into this possibility. The Trump administration has also been very receptive to China's one belt one road initiative. This is a very positive development as the US could become party instead of viewing these developments with unwarranted suspicion. The Obama administration has done more harm than good. Trump has a good opportunity to repair much of the damage inflicted. I am starting to get the idea that Trump is beyond election rhetoric now.
