Trump Wants a Big Military Parade, Just Like France

It is an idiotic idea. My circle of veterans friends all rolled their eyes, even the ones who voted for Trump.

We all know what this is about: Trump.

This is not about 'honoring' the US military but about Trump being the center of attention the way dictators position themselves among the military and the hardware. This is about satisfying the ego of an emotionally undisciplined man-child.

As of Thursday afternoon, more than 51,000 readers had responded. The majority, 89 percent, responded “No, It’s a waste of money and troops are too busy.”

The other 11 percent responded “Yes, it’s a great opportunity to show off U.S. military might.”

And keep in mind the US Army is no friend to the American Left.
