There is already the Islamic coalition under the leadership of KSA and the Arab League's plan of creating a joint Arab military force from all 20 + Arab countries.

The Arab League predates the UN, EU and almost every political organization in the West of this sort. So for Trump to dictate some "Arab NATO" is just sweat dreams.

Unlike certain entities around the region that followed the Americans blindly and joined them in Korea 10.000 km away (where almost 1000 died for nothing other than "winning" the loyalty of the West) or Afghanistan post 2001, Arabs have never done that and are not going to do that.

If that was the case we would be following the US/West as lapdogs from Afghanistan to Iraq and to Syria and everywhere else.

Any such idea, if supported by Arab regimes, should be rejected completely as long as it would follow the wishes of Trump and his likes. Not going to happen either way.

For Iran indeed who lost by far more people (civilians) and soldiers and was inflicted much more harm on. Despite Iran being 3.5 times larger than Iraq and having 2.5 more people (today it is only 2 times more, in fact less).

Who are they? Only 1 single Arab country (out of 20 +) were involved in that war against Iran and a few other Arab countries (a few GCC countries mainly) gave Iraq financial aid.

Iran was supported by 2 Arab countries (oil and gas rich Libya) and crucially Syria. As well as Western and Israeli support (they supported both parties by selling weapons to them).
