Saddam should have punished the hell out of Israelis for doing that. Saddam blinked before the Israelis (Americans) did. The end result would have been the same even if Iraq had never tried to acquire nukes.

Israel hit it in 1981 whilst Iraq had its hands full with a war with Iran, Iran is a big country. It's not like we're USA to hit there and everywhere. Iraq back then didn't have missiles that had Israel in range either, those missiles (Al-Hussein missiles) were developed later in the mid to late 80s.

Iraq and Israel do not share a border so Iraq could not do much. Also, Iraq was preoccupied with Iran at the time.

Iraq did subject Israeli cities to numerous ballistic missile strikes in 1991 when it was contending with US-led forces.

Lesson is "sensible geopolitics."

Most of the products of GE manufactured in China. I don’t know about Siemen.

15 billion is huge amount. Both GE and Siemen can work together. It will make things goes faster. Also GE and Siemen can learn from each other.

Siemen is very expensive without any reason. Hoping Iraq do their homework properly.
