Trump praises China's Xi - Has Trump been bought?

Before Trump came to power, people said that he was bought by Russia (which was apparently not true, since US-Russia relations are currently at an all-time low after the US strikes on Syria). AFTER Trump came to power, now it seems maybe he was bought by China instead of Russia.

Taking a big reversal from standard US policy today:

Now lets not forget, Donald Trump promised to label China as a currency manipulator on DAY ONE of his Presidency.

But what actually happened?

Trump also promised to use the One China Policy as a bargaining tool, but he backed down and recognised the One China Policy without getting anything in return:

So, who had the last laugh? Apparently it was not Putin, but Xi Jinping.

Republicans were always better for China, because at the end of the day they serve business interests first. And the business interests know how the world works.

Trump is a businessman, an astute one. What he is doing is, making a strong reasoning for failing to deliver his election promises. 2 years down the line, he would be indistinguishable from previous US presidents.
