There is no one that has kissed Trump's *** more than Shinzo Abe and Trump routinely humiliates him and doesn't care one bit about doing so. Abe literally has bent over backwards from being the first to meet Trump after he was elected to treating him like a king when he visits Japan to letting him host Sumo competitions, and Trump has only responded with the threat of tariffs and making sure Abe looks subservient when they are together.

His recent comments run contrary to the interest of a healthy US-Japan alliance.

That means his recent comments were a plus for China which might help warm China up to a trade deal with Trump. But at the same time, Japan and China are looking to improve relations as well. So that's another dampening effect on the US-Japan alliance.

It comes as no surprise that some of the Pro-CPP posters here think I just kiss up to him whatever he says. My interest is for the alliance, not blind obedience. The reason it is not surprising is because the Pro-CCP posters are blind obedience to the CCP so they base their opinion on that kind of mode of thinking.
