LOL Star Wars is a good movie and the new one is also very interesting where the new knight is actually a women.

Well, I will say that there are better sci-fi films like Blade Runner, Gattaca, The Last Days on Mars, Moon, Gravity, Europa Report ( the three I haven't watched ) etc.

I also havent downloaded TikTok, I dont know why I should do that. Watching music and interesting news in Youtube is already enough for entertainment.

I wonder how this ban can/will be enforced in the US...? I mean, will the app just suddenly stop working in the US once the ban is in place...? China has the Great Firewall to block such apps... does the US has something similar..? Will there be legal persecution for people still having/using it after the ban...?

I think it will hurt Trump if he shuts down Tik Tok ... this single thing might encourage a bunch of young voters (who wouldn't vote prior) to go out and support Biden. Trump should just force Bytedance to sell Tik Tok at a very cheap price ... brings competition to the Facebook monopoly anyways. Otherwise, there is nobody to stop Facebook in US social media.

Do you not know how crazy youngsters are for Tik Tok in America? It has 80 million users in the US for a reason ... if Trump bans it, they are going to go absolutely nuts.

American Gen Z is absolutely addicted to it ... you would be surprised. Personally, I think Tik Tok is really stupid ... the videos are extremely cringeworthy and honestly stupid. I really don't know why young people are addicted to it but I guess I'm part of the older generation now .

May be some kids upload in TikTok for anonymity from parents and other people. This can't done in facebook and instagram. I don't see that is deciding factor of voting.

What I mean is that there will likely be a lot of people 18 to 25 years old that really liked/was addicted to Tik Tok who will not take this ban lightly and will go vote to express their anger about this ban (these people would have otherwise not voted).

I echo your sentiments. Since Disney bought Star Wars, it has lost the essence of what made it special for me.. New commercial films are mostly standardized formula to maximize reach of audiences including non English speaking audiences such as in China.
