If Castro was a "champion" of "social justice" according to Mr. Corbyn then his @ss needs to move to Cuba to enjoy the unlimited social justice prevalent in that country. The thing with all leftist politicians is that they themselves live in gated all-White communities with private security surrounded by their elite group of delusional's who constantly tell them what they want to hear and thus they can afford to make these retarded claims and suggestions as they themselves will be safe from the repercussions (for the time being). I have been to Cuba a few times during the 90’s when Fidel Castro was very much in power. Because of the US sanctions, the Cuban visa was on a separate slip of paper which was inserted in the passport and handed back on exit so that there was no Cuban stamp on the passport itself.

Cuba was indeed in a bad shape. One had to pay for the all the purchases in US dollars, especially the taxis, or else wait for hours for the bus. We were supplying Mexican crude to their refineries in exchange for the sugar. I was too lowly to meet the great man himself but I visited all the Cuban refineries. Ex-Esso refinery near Havana had the same Fluidised Cracker (FCCU) as the one I had worked in the New Jersey Refinery in USA for a short while during the 1970. I was impressed by the calibre of the Cuban Engineers. Additionally, Cuban Medicine was also of very high standard.

Whatever one may say about Fidel Castro, he ensured good education and health for the Cubans and reduced the petty crime. I am not fond of Marxist philosophy and in my judgement the hardship that the generations suffered during his very long regime was probably not worth the benefits. However I admit that to defy the USA for such a long period must also exhibit extra ordinary courage &leadership qualities.

There are basically three kinds of people who say nice things about Fidel: (1) those too ignorant or too stupid to have the first clue what they’re talking about; (2) cowards for whom everything is morally equivalent; and (3) those who know what Fidel did and are depraved enough to defend it anyway.

The thing is when you grow in peace,abundance, freedom, and wealth you tend to take alot of things for granted(i call it complacency and spoiled), compared to those who grow up in poor developing countries where they have to battle hard for every single meal, hardships, live under dictatorship/repression, little freedom of expression etc,so people who grew up in the later know more about life and ironically value life even more. They often admire or wish they could have even half of what some delusional people in wealthy democratic developed countries have. This is something i have witnessed/seen through out my journeys/holidays in many developing countries around the world. Sometimes i even wish i could exchange some of our foolish useless delusional leftists like Corbyn or Abbot with some very nice people i have seen in the developing world, who actually cherish the very little they have. If it was possible i will do it.

In fact, the more people in the working and middle classes benefit, the more and more people become ineligible for welfare, and the less "free stuff" they get.
