The martyred policeman hails from district Jhang and was the sole bread-earner of his family and father of three children. He had been serving in Islamabad Police as head constable for the last 13 years. He protected the minister by putting his own life at risk and shot three fires at the assailants. His funeral prayer was offered at the Police Line Headquarters after which his body was dispatched to his native town.
