Treason, terrorism cases against Sufi Muhammad, 7 others

SWAT: Cases have been registered against 8 persons including chief of banned Tehreek Nifaz-e-Shariat-e-Muhammadi Maulana Sufi Muhammad on charges of initiating rebellion in Swat besides delivering public speeches against the country.

DPO Swat Sajid Muhammad here on Sunday said the cases have been registered in Saido Sharif Police Station.

Sufi Muhammad and his associates, in a public speech delivered some time back, had declared the Supreme Court of Pakistan as un-Islamic.

Serve Sufi Mohammad right. After all the plight of hundreds and thousands of IDP's were just one of the reasons. I'd say reason enough. He is a traitor - and should be punished accordingly.
