never mind bro. we indian punjabis consider ourselves more closer to indians. balochis we dunno much about them. from the looks of it they look nomadic people. pathans we call pashoris. lahoris are probably much closer to us but they are changing day by day.

Obviously there is no doubt about that. And Balochis and Pathans are Iranian races but all the Pakistanis like to think that they are Persian/Afghan/Arab. looool identity crisis. Plus real jatts/rajputs/gujjars will never leave their dharma to escape dhimmi status.

Both states have low industrialization and thus low job opportunities. While Keralites are migrating to other parts of India, ME, Europe & North America, Bengalis form the largest group of migrant labours in Kerala.

Yeah it's VERY common in rural areas. Almost everyone wears them but not that common in cities.

Our older generation in Punjab used to wear dhoti, but now it is not as common although some people still do. Our younger generation is now wearing Shalwar Kameez, jeans and t-shirts more and more.

same here but people still like to wear traditional clothes. wearing kurta pajama is still in fashion in punjab. although jeans and trousers are giving it a tough compition but even in cities people wear it
