It is symbolic and stupid. As if Indian goods will surpass the Chinese ones overnight in quality and affordability. India along with Pakistan and BD will always be a lucrative market for Chinese companies with the price sensitive masses we have.
Any regulatory change to inhibit trade will backfire in this day and age, if the Yanks can't handle it, India definitely will (not)
