Well Pakistanis needs to change a lots of things seriously...they need to produce and sell. Our importers just sit and looks towards government to provide them everything.. To even tell then every single point from where to buy machines to where to buy raw materials.
So many rich people and no one has interest in industrialization.

True. This is why the east Asian model of state backed for profit firms is what we should follow...but we need to find the right people to run these firms. Firms like toyota, honda, samsung, hyundai were run by industrious families with state support. Problem in Pakistan is that elite families don't support goals that benefit the nation. Compare the bhuttos and sharifs to the toyota family. Huge difference.

The Bhutto's actively killed Pakistani industry through nationalization. The Sharifs were more interested in investing profits in London real estate and mills overseas than in Pakistan. Toyota family worked with their government to build efficient productive industries. Profits were reinvested into expanding the business or into research and development. This turned Japan into an industrial power.
