If you are lucky, you can get a white-color Axio for 15.

I have driven Toyota Platz in automatic (same as Vitz/Yaris but in sedan model). Good economy, good solid car. I don't remember taking it to mechanic ever except for the regular tuning etc. But the built-in stereo was ugly and very simple. Other than that, I was happy with it.

A pre-owned certified Corolla from Japan will easily cost you $23,000. It's mostly due to duties imposed by the government.

I have not tracked km per litter my mother usually drive this fine little car so I will ask her she knows I myself drive the bigger vehicle. But yes as much as I know the consumption is excellent.

PS. Our Vitz 2013 is Automatic because my mother drove Automatic in CA for years now manual is awkward for her.

I'd rather buy whatever I can new (in Asia). Cars tend to get abused in that part of the world.

There were some price fluctuations some months back. Some of my colleagues managed to get them for 15 just in time. I'm not sure about know. They were all '08 models.

As I said, it is a matter of luck.
