So do we get clear signs of where no limit applies?

Thanks

Thank you,

I don't intend to drive too fast, already suffering from overspending about 1 month ago...

So unlimited speed until I see sign for national speed limit applies?

Or 70mph/110kph?

That sign means no speed limit, and then as you approach built up areas, speed limits will be posted in km per hour. Some areas have variable limits like on the M25 in the UK.

Remember: Strict lane discipline, watch your rearview mirror like a hawk, stay right unless overtaking and no tailgating. The fines are stiff.

It will be fun to drive on wrong (right) side of the side I guess.

I have only driven to left side in my life, wherever in the world so it will be a new experience for me. When you said stay right, I for a moment thought you meant to say stay left but then I remembered that everything will be opposite to UK so when you want to overtake you got to go left instead of right

I don't think he's refering to the UK habit of driving the wrong way (lmao) but autobahn sections with no limits, to stay on the right lane = do not drive in the overtaking lane in those sections unless absolutely necessary and when necessary he says to watch your rearview mirror like a hawk = keeping alert on these sections for cars that will pass you.
As there is no limit, they are quite fast and it can happen that someone whizzes by you, with you not even noticing him in the mirror.
Sounds anecdotal, but if you were to pass a slower car at that time and turned to the overtaking lane, while someone would have come from behind with 250km/h+ on that same overtaking lane.....not so anecdotal anymore...

I understand what he was trying to say, I am just saying that it was no where in my mind that I would need to stay in right lane in order to avoid trouble of people overtaking me...

Driving is not an issue it is the long route with short time available, I am trying to add one more day in my trip so that we can spend better time in that region but let's see if all of us agrees...

I really think you would get more out of your trip with an additional day.
