aha! that makes sense. they thought it'd bring down only Imran Khan but their own thievery also got aired. So now they have to shut it all all down in a hurry. Everyone including Imran Khan escapes!

Imran Khan not escaped, he has all payment receipts and showed in income statement. PMLN and PPP who has no receipt or no show income statements on top they took restricted items like SUVs and luxury cars, so it mega issue for PDM.

No, can't shut it down. This will haunt them. If they have IK punished, this will set a precedent for when they are at the receiving end. Read my post above
They just want to arrest him using any pretext.
The whole thing is becoming a laughing stock.It was expected that when he comes to court for toshakhana case he will get indicted.But the indiction has been delayed again because of trouble outside the court between imrans supporters and the police.

Imran Khan’s watch assessed value was way higher than what was earlier assessed and he paid 50% of the assessed value as per law. He filed the income in his tax filing.
For PDM, what happened was for everyone to see, was one the assessed value was very much undervalued, second they did not file it in their tax returns, third some of the items bought was just against the law (car).
