Two reasons I can think of:

1- They could not find anything else hence had to resort to this miniscule, legally correct yet morally questionable act of IK.

1- PDM knows keh yeh to certified chor hain hi in the eyes of the public. To phir instead of clearing your own name, they are trying to prove IK as a chor of their stature too. Just have a look at their pressers and such, not on a single occassion do they go out and clear their own name, but try and prove the other person same as them. @villageidiot I believe wrote this in another thread and made me realize.

I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that these people were crying about Toshakhana for so long when they themselves were guilty of the same 'crime' they are accusing others of.

It's like I commit a murder, fraud, theft, everything under the sun, but then go out an accuse others of stealing 100 PKR.

The accusers are indeed the ones who need to be blamed before the accused and be held accountable before the accused is held accountable.

However, as for the accuser accusing others, well, It is what has been practiced ever since I remember, the accused never denied wrong doings but rather would always blame the accuser of wrong doing. PPP and PML have a history of it all Nationally and MQM etc., have a history regionally. Here, the accuser always tries to convey that the other is a bigger thief. What is important, however, is that they are ALL involved in these illegal/immoral acts.

As for my posts, I have not accused Imran Khan of any Tosha Khana Gift purchase. He simply exploited the rule which others had flouted before him with impunity and so at worse he is the same as those before him despite the 50% payment after evaluation as the evaluation too was done by his own minions. In all honesty, can a gift by a Head of State such as Saudi Arabia, MBS at that, be ever valued? Is it not diplomatically and culturally priceless?

Is not a 100 PKR crime, still a crime? Can the accused be defended on pleas that the accusers were bigger crooks?
