Top Ten Richest Peoples on Earth

"I am talking about using a small percentage of wealth that these people have to do the needful to the needy"

Charity - definition -- Provision of help or relief to the poor;

Dude, you are talking about charity.

What do you call a process that begins with charity and ends in job creation? I am talking about that, and I do not have a term for that.

Also, since you seem unaware, these rich elites contribute a lot to charity. But even then we require two more things: first more rich people need to contribute and second they should try and convert the act of charity into a systematic and organised process that would eventually help the poverty stricken to uplift themselves in various ways - through job, business, self-employment, etc.

And just to note, if you cannot argue in a decent, civilized manner and have indulge in lame remarks to prove your point, then I guess I'm out of this thread. Enjoy!

Okay, since you consider others so foolish to not understand cliche type of points, I think you need to take a break. Do not come telling me that I do not know what common sense socio-economic process is. It is schoolish to always rely on theoretical concepts, and that is why that comment.

Do you have any suggestions on this. However, I think GoI is providing funds which are not utilized properly because the money is diverted towards the swiss banks.

Hope you get my point

I know your point. But then do you leave everything to governments? That is my point.

Who is Government in democracy? I think we, the people. We choose wrong person to represent us. that is the root cause.

I would have been glad if you understood what I actually meant by political-socio-economic issues.

With that term, I meant India's poverty problems arises because of --

1) India's political problems including inefficient bureaucracy.
2) India's poor economic policy.
3) And social issues, like --
a) Caste system
b) Self-centered mindset of people (which I guess is your point).

If you would have actually gone through my comment, you would have realized that in some ways my comment agreed with your viewpoint.

My friend, I know all that. Please pause a little and try and grab the point I am trying to make. The fallacies of governments is a different issue, that we have to consistently deal with all the time. I am talking about taking a cue of the people living in extreme poverty and help them in whatever way you can. And I am talking about making this process systematic and organised, keeping in mind both short-term and long-term benefits of the extremely needful people. You need to understand that a simple long-term approach is not a good approach here, when we are talking about people in extreme poverty conditions.

Also, I see you are talking about how the problem arises, and I am talking about a possible way to help solve the problem.

P.S. I do not believe in enforcement, but then I have no respect for people who indulge in lavishness while people in their neighbor do not even have basic things of survival.

Definately Not, if a chinese list on that list, I will say he is ashamed to chinese, bcoz we still have 100million people under poverty. Just image that japanese GDP per capital is 35times of indian and there are no japanese on that list. I think you got my point.

Based on that you can devoid a individual from the wealth which he has earned from his hardwork.... Ambanis are not the ones who just got it as a part of long lived legacy. they got it from Dheeru Bhai who was just a common man. So if they can achieve the zenith that means each Indian have the caliber. And what is there to be shameful in that if a person from my nation start from scratch reaches the top
