South Asia is destined for even worse. I have had to explain to members, both Indian as well as Pakistani, that not putting coal-powered electricity plants is not a western conspiracy. The Pakistani members have been especially virulent in their assertion that come what may, coal is the way to go. Another one fought a pitched battle with me for saying that green energy should be promoted, calling it another western conspiracy.

As we speak, China is busy trying to sell coal-based power plants to Pakistan. Reject them, for the future's sake. Anything else is communal suicide. India, Pakistan and Bangladesh will pay a heavy price for this foolishness.

Right? So when did Pakistan become the most "populated country" in the world. Did India, China, USA, Indonesia et al perish in some nuclear armagedon? With such blaring distortion of facts we are supposed to take this serious?This is rubbish article with some Indian behind it. Increasingly cyberspace is being filled with Indian sourced rubbish masking as "reports".

You want dirt? Go no further than Ganga on the Varanasi and you will find our what dirt means. Just google it. This is where mother earth pukes in disgust.

Not to be pissed off at which country stands at which number, whether Pakistan is Notorious for being polluted or India or Afghanistan...it is something which could not be controlled by physical borders...if Amritsar air is polluted then it is surely going to hurt Lahore atmosphere as well, if Kandahar is polluted so would be the effect on Zhob etc, i think these type of issues should be discussed irrespective of the FLAG we have on our profile...these are the type of issues we should have consensus upon...

GUYS...please forget about where India or Pakistan is on the list...the real issue is that both are on the list alongwith Iran Afghanistan etc which makes the whole region to be the MOST POLLUTED REGION OF THE WORLD...
