I was born in Pakistan and lived the majority of my life in Pakistan. Pakistan has always been a dirty country, so I am curious as to why you are surprised. We lack infrastructure, and even our habits as a people are terrible. We throw things on the street, when we eat out, we drop bones right beside our tables, we burn trash in our galis.
And I don't care what these Indians say. Their nation is way dirtier than ours, but If they want to defend their filth then we should accept it.
However, we should not try to hide our faults, If we truly want to improve. How many times have you seen at the meat market the skins of bakra and feathers of a chicken just dropped on the side of the road after butchering? They even leave the organs right there. Those are the same streets our children walk to go to school. We treat our neighborhoods like trash, but clean our houses and cars/motorcycles like they are holy.
I am just saying, even though we don't have people taking shits on the side of the road like India, we as a people have a very regressive approach to cleanliness of our communities.
We take care of our gardens and properties as If they were gold, but when you take one step outside onto the street, we don't care If it looks like a trash dump.
So tell me Niazi saab, am I wrong?
