Top-ranked Maoist leader Sasadhar Mahato killed in encounter

Perception index, and China shoots people for corruption.

Good observation, since you apparently disapprove of perceptions, there must be a quantifiable measure of India's corruption, kind enough to share it with us?

Regarding shooting of people, pretty barbaric imho, and doesnt seem to work very well as another member pointed out, any reason why Chinese are so stubbornly corrupt that even death doesnt deter them?

And India hangs them...but the problem in both countries is that many corrupt officials get away it!

Can you reuse the hang rope? If so I think China should switch to hanging. Even 1 USD saved per corrupt official can turn into huge savings, considering the huge number of corrupt officials we have.

A tragic case of a great freedom fighter suppressed by the state war machine.

Much like how the students in China 1914 were brutally suppressed by the Nationalist government and how Communist Party members were massacred by machine gun in the late 1920's.

This is not a troll. There are many parallels between 1948 China and 2010 India. Both were nominally democratic governments that suppressed freedom, had high rates of poverty, low literacy, low average lifespan, armed insurgencies and significant foreign influence. 1 year later, the Nationalist government in China collapsed and was replaced by the CPC.
Look man you guys don't even support the guy who was nominated for Nobel peace prize, you oppose us because of sheltering Dalai Lama who is like in exile on one corner of India and is never allowed to work against any country.
On the contrary we are talking about people who are killing anyone who comes in their way, destroying government property like roads, railway, schools, hospitals etc. I don't think your 1947 was same as what we are facing.

But the system is too hard in India. The beginning of Naxalism was based on anger against the system but now its off-track just like every other armed struggle. They have forgotten their goal.
