it was good actually. they came to Turkey and where even more frightened

the ongoing terrorism in the southeast made them appreciate their time in Iraq.

I saw that episode, in which they started in Iraq and wanted to go to Bethlehem. But as the iraqi town they had to pass was an al qaida strong hold they wanted to go in opposite direction(to iran) and then to turkey and then westward.
Iranians did not allow BBC because some issues with BBC news(they allow other uk channels), and top gear is a BBC production.
I was disappointed.

They were wearing helmet and bulletproof vests in iraq, but as soon as they ented Kurdish territory, they removed everything and started racing.

One of them said these are our friends, what is there to fear( or something like that)

I know, but clearly they must had known they were not be allowed in Iran, anyway they did this to make Iran look bad on purpose.
It was dissappointing since Iran is much more beautiful than Iraq...they would had loved it.
