Top civil-mil officials agree on 'political negotiations' with Islamabad protesters, no use of force

. .
I support sending gunships over these protesters and disposing of their remains in the meat grinder to produce dog food and shipping it to kutta island. When govt is hostage to such lunatic worthless baboons, the world has little faith in the stability of Pak government.

A state cannot be held hostage to fear.
If there is a group of people waging indirect or non-conventional warfare upon a nation, then it must be met with identical force and brutality. Extremism is bred among the families, so to get rid of terrorist get rid of the breeders. The powerful will wipe the weak.

And did you know everyone there. I doubt 90%?of protestors were extremists. They're everyday ordinary people who are passionate about this certain law. If you want to get somewhere then negotiation is the only way forward. Creating more enemies won't do anything. If the army does kill them then people would bash them later on for doing that too.

With its national traits of religious fanaticism, failed governance and military insubordination on full display, how can Pakistan expect to be treated as a responsible nuclear power without fixing them?

"...the upshot is that the state has accepted that mobs and zealots have a right to issue religious edicts that can endanger lives and upend public order."

The following rumored stipulations are simply mid-boggling in their implications:

  1. A board of clerics led by Pir Muhammad Afzal Qadri will be set up to probe remarks made by Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah against the persecution of Ahmedis. Sanaullah will have to accept the decision made by the board.

  2. No difficulty will be faced in registering cases under clause 295-C of the Pakistan Penal Code (blasphemy law).

  3. No leniency will be given to those convicted by courts for blasphemy.

  4. No ban will be imposed on the use of loudspeakers.

  5. The foreign and interior ministries will take steps for the release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui after taking her mother and sister in confidence.

  6. The holiday of Iqbal Day on November 9 will be revived.

  7. Two representatives of Tehreek-i-Labaik will be included in the panel assigned to decide changes in the textbook board. The officials will push for inclusion of translation of the Holy Quran and chapters about Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) and Muslim leaders.

  8. The chehlum of martyrs will be held on January 4 at Rawalpindi's Liaquat Bagh.

  9. Every year, November 25 will be observed as "Martyrs of Prophet's honour day".

Nobody has an actual problem with protesters, religion is their pain.

For two millennium, this part of the land has been a defeated, conquered and subjugated nation.
These clowns among us are the left over seed of several successful invaders.
Unless Hitler like drastic steps are not taken up to purify the society, our gene pool will remain inferior and polluted like this.

Actually, infusion of new DNA helps improve the gene pool. I think you mean to be upset and the excessive in-breeding over the last 70 years that has deteriorated the gene pool, from a scientific standpoint that is, but its relationship to the presently prevailing Pakistani mindset is not clear to me. Hitler killed off portions of his own society to improve the gene pool, which is what the TYL seems to be advocating indirectly, so that creates more confusion about what you want to say here.
