Btw - a lot of initial Turkish industry owes it’s origins to Israel. There was a LOT of knowledge transfer during the 90s but to the credit of the Turks they really took it in stride and built on it.

However, the Israeli developments are great but nothing no one else wasn’t already thinking or doing something about - where they really innovated and excelled is the electronic spectrum and continue to dominate it.

The other aspect is Israeli society and structure itself - not just the paranoia of being under constant threat but the social system of Kibbush and other structures that create innovators from the get go. A large number of tech startups are Israeli - so its not just about inventions but more so the mindset.

Israeli military developments often were much better than anything else.
For example the M111 shells both the Soviets and NATO copied from us.
Our ATGMs.
Our air defenses.
Our Active Protection Systems.

It's hard to invent something completely new that no one thought about it. And if such things exist they probably remain secret.

Thanks to ASELSAN , HAVELSAN , ROKETSAN , METEKSAN , TAI , TEI , STM , TUBITAK-SAGE , etc which were established after American arms embargo on Turkiye in 1975
