It appears as though we can’t go anywhere without seeing a sea of people using cell phones. We’re plugged into our cell/mobile phones all the time. Here is a list of 10 most expensive mobile phones in the world.
10. Vertu Signature Diamond
Price: $ 88,000
Vertu is a British manufacturer and retailer of luxury, handmade mobile phones. It was established by Finnish mobile-phone manufacturer Nokia in 1998. Nokia sold Vertu to private equity group EQT VI for an unspecified amount in October 2012, (rumored to be $200 million).
Vertu Signature Diamond claims to have over 25 types of screw in each Signature, some so small that just four human hairs fit into the thread. 83 carats of sapphire crystal is used to create the stunning seven-piece Signature face. Each key of every Signature is tested with over two million presses. This phone is equivalent of making 20 calls a day, every day, for 25 years. The phone has 4GB of internal memory and is enabled with Series 40 Operating system.
