CJCSC General Rashid Mahmood was given a warm welcome and a guard of honor at his Pentagon arrival. He met with all US services Chiefs and other key officials. Looks like the ice is breaking between the two allies which marks a good omen for the region and beyond.

No Fox News covering Pakistani Genera visit? :sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic:

Carrot and a stick policy...otherwise its too stubborn to budge.

This is a success of Pakistani policy makers. Allying with China and US at the same time while improving ties with Russia. Maintaining cordial ties with Middle east as well as Iran and Turkey while staying away from the game in Afghanistan - ;)

There's no "game" in Afghanistan other than trying to mend past eff ups that the US and Soviets commited there and which Pakistan turned it into a breeding ground for jihadi's.

Other than that - good job with the foreign policy.

Policies are made as per given circumstances. Afghanistan is a bit of a regional chessboard right now though our pieces are hidden under the table. We do not want to be partisans in Afghanistan endgame. Its for Afghans to chose their leader and we will work with whoever they pick.

This was a big mistake to visit a country whom most Pakisranis don't like.

This visit will be used to promote terrorism by showing Pakistan army a rented army of USA and wont be good for zarb e azb.

Idiot people do stupid bakwas. We ought to vigorously follow our interests rather than 'pleasing' terrorists and their closet sympathizers.

Try and view the situation in Afg from a neutral and a non partisan position and you will notice that its just a bunch of countries trying to take the country in the right direction. Pakistan just used that effort to its advantage or tried to.

But again, the present Pak policy of a neutral or supportive Afghan policy is a good move.

Its really good Pakistan is moving towards good in foreign relations
Finally over this block division ..but I seriously doubt our Politicians, they rarely establish relationships on mutual respect basis, dunno why but they are into Total Subservience ..
And USA evacuation of Afghanistan will do better too, only if it actually evacuates.
What I don't know is instead of making Pak-US relations better there should be more effort for making Pak-Afghan and Pak-India relationship better .After all warna have to live with them.
