Winter Olympic is so much smaller in scale. The one that truly counts, the Summer Olympic, Japan only hosted once. France twice and US 4 times.

I guess the next bet for an Middle Eastern country to host the Olympics will probably be Dubai. The only thing against Dubai is their human rights abuses and their scorching hot weather during summer.
