and how do these indian bikes compare to their japanese counterparts in terms of reliability?

But with a 3 gear system instead of 8 because those have the classic rod + coaster brakes. Dont like the ugly wires around steering handle.

On the flip side, the finish and refinement is better on the Japanese.

In my family I am the 3rd Generation Bajaj user, though not a higher end bike user, but we have Pulsar, Discover at home using for past 5 years and have no issues.

I consider Bajaj has slight edge over TVS.

BAJAJ Is Good but has Quality Issues , TVS has little better Quality in direct comparison
