i know that El-Al is the only airline company in the world to have flares issued to it's planes. but that is because it is the national airline of Israel. what about all the other non Governmental owned airline companies from Israel?

isn't it easier to go after them rather than El Al Airlines?

They do, as do a lot other airplanes. But imagine firing a rocket, thinking you'll probably miss but it's the thought that counts...

Not feasible unless the paratroopers are invisible. They will be easy to spot jumping out of the plane (esp when they open the parachutes) and any terrorist with a long range rifle can take pot shots
