To counter chinese aggression, Mizoram to have surveillance radar, combat aircraft

Aizawl, June 2 (PTI) Mizoram will fully cooperate with the Indian Air Force for installing a surveillance radar and for stationing four combat aircraft in this strategic north eastern state, an official statement said here today.

A large area would be required for the surveillance radar at Zokhawtlang in south Mizoram, for which detailed survey was being undertaken, the statement said after Air Marshal K K Nohwar, AOC-in-C, Eastern Air Command met Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla.

Nohwar said that as the IAF wanted at least four combat aircraft to be stationed at the lone Lengpui Airport, land would be required for the construction of four blast pans.

Modern facilities including schools, amusement parks and canteens would also be constructed to benefit the local population, the statement said.

We need to have at least 2 air bases in Mizoram with 20 combat aircraft each along with multiple ALGs.

. . .
Does the newspaper have a template for its titles, almost everything is a "Chinese Aggression" or "Chinese Threat".

. . .
Yes it should be ideal if its replaced with radar installed to counter chinese love or something like that.

Why not just say defenses need to be beefed up or something, this must be the gazillion time I saw a title that had the words Chinese and threat. I'll bet you a new thread will open within the next 7 days with a similar title
