Time for Shias to leave Pakistan

We don't need any help from Iran if we wanna beat this Wahhabi monster we need more help from other Pakistanis and look through out pakistan they are starting to speak up.

We all Pakistanis are with our Shia brothers.

Also please understand don't say Shia or Sunni, just Pakistani. All Pakistanis should rise up for a final bloody revolution to root out several cancerous groups such as terrorists, polititions, feudals & their kinds, corrupt mafia, out of control media etc etc.

Also what a stupid dumbest article by Dawn, the media personnal never let go any opportunity to divide people of Pakistan, day by day Pakistani media is becoming headache.

Being an outsider here is my observation:
1- You will be heading a wrong direction if you really put it in Shia Sunni rivallary. If Shias are targeted intentionally then of course Zardari will not be a president of Pakistan nor Jinha would not be the founder of your nation.
2- This is a situation in Pakistan where the law of the land loose the grip over a specific area. Because a good governance only ensures equality among its citizens and once that factor is diminished then a lot of fringe elements likes to take up that space so that they can control the space left by the Government.

3- Intolerance towards others is another major factor that needs to be addressed by Pakistani intelligentsia within the Pakistan society. This is not a one day affair but time has come for influential people or political space of Pakistan to reinforce a message of tolerance to different section of the society...If you donot spread the message of tolerating different sect or religion people then the majority sect of people will always try to take the advantage of weak governance and impose their own rule to eliminate and harass the minority population...

4- Apart from Pakistan GOV taking a strong action against the terrorist, time has come for Pakistan society to acknowledge that they should accept and address that day by day people of Pakistan is getting adopted to the war culture....It is really unfortunate that Pakistan has seen major war happening or Pakistan getting involved it in it in last 30 year...That has created a impact where warriors of whatever form are respected high in society..This trend need to change...Or else every people will take up the arm to become a hero whenver there is any kind of social and economic problem props up in your society....

People lets look at it rationally without the emotional baggage - There is no denying that Shias are suffering disproportionately more than their Sunni brethren due to Pakistan's abysmal security & governance situation.

That said one must harken back a decade or two into the past to realize that, allegedly (because there is no way to substantiate this apart from anecdotal or circumstantial evidence), the Shia-Sunni turf war started in the '80s & peaked in the '90s & to a lesser extent in the early '00s before becoming chronically one sided in the past 2-3 years.

The reason for this is that Shia Militant Groups like the Sipah-i-Muhammadi or the Tehreki-i-Jaffriya amongst others have lost their funding from one of those two countries who've fought a turf war in Pakistan, Iraq & the rest of the Middle-East trying to expand their influence whilst curbing the others. That loss of funding & any direct support because of the International ostracization of one of those two countries, the creation of the TTP, the vacuum that is created in Pakistan for all of these militant groups to perform due to the security & governance related sh*t storm that we've been embroiled in, especially, since the past 2-3 years is the reason why these targeted killings are so much on the rise & so one-sided !

Hopefully the Army & the Security Apparatus been given a freer reign in Baluchistan would be able to root out these elements & restore order in those areas but then again these happenings are intrinsically linked to the greater security vacuum, the utterly abysmal law & order & governance situation in the country & the chronically destabilized nature of the region.

LOLL, the "STRONG government" bit; you'll somehow have to manage yourself.
About the "IRON fist" part; you can borrow that from the Indian Air Force. They have it ready for 22nd Feb.

I think the Shiets are over represented in every walk of life in Pakistan be it politics, beurocrasy, military, there might be a grudge in large section of Pakistani Sunnites. The other reason might be there leaning towards Iran and Sunnite discrimination might lead to avenge. The Hazara Shiets are the soft target that as they are easily recognizable and can be found in large numbers in their own ghettos.
