I'm not getting worked up, I just don't think a war on Iran (extremely unlikely though it may be), would at any stage be turned into some sort of front against Pakistan.

I advice you to educate yourself on the kind of weapon and missile systems in the ME. ANY weapon system that iran has active at the moment, KSA has a way more dangerous and elaborate version of. Be it ballistic missiles, where KSA has bigger and longer range ones, or air defense systems or any other system you can imagine.

Look my dear fan boy my question was very simple but you have no answer for it other than we have this and we have that. Now look here is scenario there are oil tankers passing through the strait and Iran announces the it will hit any oil tanker with a ballistic missile or a cruise missile. How will oil get out? Oil not going out world oil prices rise. Saudia or GCC cannot counter any missile cumming to hit the oil tankers passing through the strait. This will make oil price go sky high and Russia will start making billions in a day as it will be the only major country that can provide oil to the world. if this will continue for 7 months the Russia will have the strongest economy in the world.

The issue is not whether US can give Iran a hard pounding. US can give many countries a hard initial strike, but the truth is that Iran's military capabilities and deterrence are still in place and have improved. Forget what the politicians are saying, look at what the military knows. US military knows it doesnt have spare 50-100K troops now to deal with Iran. US can hit Iran and hurt Iran, but to quench/destroy Iran, not likely. US cant put everyone "in their place" at the same time, and NATO/EU wont be there fully either to do the extra work.
