Tibetans breach Xi’s security in New Delhi

Make choice;
1. Incompetence of Indian security
2. Planned out Insults
Anyway if such issues are not managed properly they should let some maoists or tamils to block the road for Modi, just to learn the feeling.

While no official comment was made from either side on the Tibet issue, several Chinese journalists who had flown down for the visit expressed surprise at the protesters being able to reach the venue of the bilateral meeting.

“The fact that a controlled protest was allowed on this visit, in a departure from the past during the visit of Premier Li Keqiang, or the Olympic torch run, was as much a message to the visiting delegation as it was to the Prime Minister’s domestic constituency that has advocated a tough line on China,” surmised analyst Ashok Malik.

And there are chinese tibetans who are supporting their government as well, so what is your point?
Vast majority of Tibetans support China and well integrated into Chinese society. These are descendants of former slave owners and princelings. Now they cannot own slaves and live a luxurious life. They are angry

BEIJING: Chinese foreign ministry on Friday expressed satisfaction over Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement that Tibet is an integral part of China. This is an important takeaway from President Xi Jinping's three-day visit to India from the Chinese standpoint.

"Prime Minister Modi said that Tibet is an integral part of China and India does not allow any separatist activities on its soil," foreign ministry spokesman Hong Lei told journalists at a briefing.

Lets see if Modi will honor what he says and India must clamp down on any Tibetans taking part in any separatist activity.

He he he. But the only people I see crying are the Tibetan protesters being taken away by the Indian police. :yahoo:

But if India allows these protesters, then the world can see India is lying and allowing its soil to be used by separatist activities targeting a another member of the United Nation.

Either way you lose.

Are you seeing the Tibetan protesters first time, they protest around the world, and the world sympathises with them.

Either way you lose.

This is the one lie the world wants to hear, which will make them Happy, and will be supported.

why is that whenever a protest Tamils are brought into the conversation . I am a Tamil maybe you should educate me so that i could grow my hatred towards my government and perhaps stage a protest as you said
You realize there's still millions of Tibetans inside Tibet right?

While China is many things, the Tibetans inside are mostly serfs killed and lived on their masters whims. What does Tibet mean to these people? Not much if anything at all.

The royals are always trying to reclaim their throne, but other than a few very successful ones like Napoleon, support has been lukewarm or non existent at best.

Did Tibet really give the majority of Tibetans a reason to love it? Or more specifically, did tibet really made them feel like people of Tibet?

The answer is no.

There are Tibetans hanging pictures of every generation of leaders, but Han Chinese doesn't do that, I won't say not one, but pretty much nobody.

The only thing that's driving these protests and suicides are ironically our economic advances in the region. The older generation feel that they finally escaped and into a life of 3 meals a day, water, a salary, and government protection, and more, the new ones are unfortunately, or fundamentally never felt that misery the older ones did, thus with the life we provided, they have this romantic image of Tibet.

Why did I say all that to you? You imply there is no hostility, and maybe you are right, but why can't Tibetans be the same?

There is nothing to clamp down, you cannot show any separatist or terrorist activities that are being carried out in Tibet or China from Indian soil.

But what about China? When will they stop fueling NE separatist/terrorist groups with money, weapons and safe-havens? When will they start recognizing our territories as our integral parts?

Because of Nehru's naivety we have recognized Tibet as integral part of China in return of nothing, we should have retained that bargaining chip.

I am of the opinion that India should officially ask China for one last time to issue standard visas to the Indians of Arunachal & Kashmir, and if that request is not honoured, then India should also start issuing stapled-visas to the people of Tibet & Xinjiang.
