Tibet torture video: Rediff

stupid communist rats. they think they will rule the world and become superpower. they will die like ants for commiting these crimes.

Sometime sooner or later their own people whose mouths are shut will start to speak and shout.

Watch your mouth and feed your fellow starving citizens first, Indians like you should be ashamed by damaging our planet.

Lol...Indian members pointing fingers at China for beating a few people when their soldiers have raped and executed a staggering amount of innocent women.

Don't make me post those links and images again.

.
looks familiar to the kashmir issue dsnt it??

when there is military involved in large numbers in places like these there is bound to happen major violation of human rights .....recently IA jawans and an officer were accused of killing a carpenter whom they mistook for a terrorist

i am happy that some thing good is happening for the first time and ......sometimes the same strict rules for firing may turn against the security forces ....something similar to the american soldiers in somali ....but thats a different issue ....though soldiers were arrested i think not many of these incidents will come under light ....people who have suffered unnecessarily under people wielding power (army) dont bother if they were really fighting for a good cause ...for them its a permanent loss of kin and sometimes livelihood

Haha, why the indian always focus on what they wanted to see? & always guided by the western media to serve their own western interest?Just google ard, see what have these tibetan done before they been arrested by the chinese enforcer.A criminal act, they should deserved more then what they had done.At my opinion, Chinese enforcer are to soft to handle situation (just beat them with stick).Did indian goverment serve the criminal with cirgar & coffee once they arrested?

.
Do we have to start posting pics of muslims, sikhs, hindus and christians getting killed in india to put the video poster in his place?

. .
The point is not the killing. The point is about freedom of media. Banning of youtube.

.
Do we have to start posting pics of muslims, sikhs, hindus and christians getting killed in india to put the video poster in his place?

Then do we need to start posting articles and news clips, showing state of women in Pakistan and in which light they are viewed in?

So you actually view the ridiculous state of Tibetians, and the lack of freedom and human rights in China, as something to be proud of? If that is so, then I have nothing more to say.

.
well,

the first footage that CHinese police beat the arrested guys should be only reliable one.
but foreigners here obviously can not understand what the police offficers said in the footage

In fact, anyone who can know chinese can hear that The police officer in the right side said to his inferior:"好了!(enough)"

Obviously the officer were stopping the beat.

Plicemen' beating the arrested guys is not a good deed, but western policemen and indian policemen did not better than CHinese collegue when copying with such a mass-riot.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

but the other footages ,including that injured on bed , obviously can be easily transplanted from other videos .

For example,If I get some footages that a guy injured by a fire or car accident on bet, then claim that the guy was injured by "the torture of Indian plicemen", can indian people accept my claim so soon?

However,It is very funny if a normal Indian adult accept Dalai's footages without any vertifation at once.

Panchen Lama hails progress in Tibet, calls for support for CPC leadership

http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2009-03/22/xin_5520306151534593257665.jpg

BEIJING, March 22 (Xinhua) -- The 11th Panchen Lama Gyaincain Norbu has called on people in Tibet to support the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC), to which he credited the highland region's prosperity and development today.

In a signed article to be carried by Monday's People's Daily, the Panchen Lama, one of Tibet's most senior living Buddhas, said the hard-earned happy life of today's Tibetans should be greatly cherished.

People in Tibet should support the CPC leadership, contribute to the nation's unity and unification, as well as to the happiness and future of Tibetan people, he said.

Only the CPC could enable serfs in Old Tibet to enjoy dignity as human beings and freedom, he said in the article.

"As facts showed Tibet could only achieve today's prosperity and development as well as a more beautiful future under the CPC leadership," he said.

He cited a line of Buddhist scripture about the significance of good leaders and patriotic people to a country.

"It means to me that a country could only achieve peace and stability and the people enjoy happy life with wise leaders," he said.

"All monks and nuns should uphold patriotism, abide by the law and commandments, and carefully study the essence of Buddhism," he said.

The Panchen Lama promised that he would inherit his predecessor's tradition to be a patriot and uphold the "four great loves" as set fourth by the 10th Panchen Lama: the love of the CPC, of socialism, of his own ethnic group and of religious belief.

He would continue to guide Tibetan Buddhists to adapt to the country's socialist society and strive to contribute to the nation's unification, ethnic unity and people's happy life.

In 1951, the Central People's Government and the Local Government of Tibet signed an agreement on the Measures for the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet, or the 17-Article Agreement.

It signified the peaceful liberation of Tibet and enabled the region to shake off the trammels imposed by imperialist aggressors, he said.

In 1959, the central government and Tibetan people halted an armed rebellion, and the Chinese government launched democratic reform to end the feudal serfdom system and liberate serfs, he said.

Tibetan legislators endorsed a motion in January this year designating March 28 as Serfs Emancipation Day, to commemorate the emancipation of millions of serfs and slaves in Tibet 50 years ago.

"As a descendant of serfs in Old Tibet and the successor to the Panchen Lama Erdeni, I'm very excited as the whole country is celebrating the first Serfs Emancipation Day," the 19-year-old Panchen Lama said.

The central government has established a series of preferential policies to promote economic and social development in Tibet since it adopted the reform and opening up policy three decades ago, he said.

Since then, the central government has been investing in projects, giving subsidies and calling on people across the country to offer aid to Tibet, the Panchen Lama said. The measures greatly facilitated economic and social development in the region.

Huge progress was also made in the past five decades in enabling the Tibet Autonomous Region to practice self-government in its region, the protection of traditional Tibetan culture and heritage, and the promotion of freedom in religious belief, he said.

Gyaincain Norbu, born on Feb, 13, 1990 in Lhari county of Nagqu prefecture in northern Tibet, was approved by the central government in November 1995 as the reincarnation of the 10th Panchen Lama, who died in 1989, after a lot drawing ceremony among three candidates in the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa. He was enthroned as the 11th Panchen Lama on Dec. 8, 1995.

Drawing lots from a gold urn to decide on the final choice of the reincarnation of a high lama is a tradition in Tibetan Buddhism. Gaining the approval from the central government on the choice is a practice that began in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

Panchen Lama promises to maintain stability in Tibet

BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- The 11th Panchen Lama Gyaincain Norbu on Sunday visited an exhibition displaying economic and social progress that Tibet Autonomous Region has achieved in the past five decades.

The Panchen Lama, one of the religious leaders of Tibetan Buddhism, went to the Cultural Palace of Nationalities to see the exhibition titled "50th Anniversary of Democratic Reforms in Tibet" that has been in running in Beijing since Feb. 24.

The Panchen Lama said documentary pictures, files and relics vividly reproduced the tragedy of slaves in old Tibet and the progress in human rights since the abolition of the serfdom.

Tibetan people could only achieve progress and have a bright future under the leadership of Communist Party of China, the Panchen Lama said.

"People living in Tibet should cherish the prosperity and happy lives today," he said, adding that he would continue to guide Tibetan Buddhists to be adapted to the country's socialist society.

The 19-year-old Panchen Lama promised that he would inherit his predecessor's tradition to be a patriot and try to maintain the nation's unity, stability and harmony.
